Using Reverse Reply Marketing To Build Your Downline

Today I am going to do a quick how-to on reverse reply marketing. Many Directmatches reps, including myself, have built a nice downline using these very simple methods. After reading this post and applying some of the techniques, you will too. Lets get started.

First, you need to know who you are looking for. With Directmatches you have a variety of people you can target. For this post I am only going to talk about two types. People looking to get involved in a home based business and people who want to advertise their home business business or MLM opportunity. I recommend that you start with the people looking to advertise and network. They are everywhere plus they are experienced and are more likely to be receptive to everything you and Directmatches have to offer.

Now that you know who you are looking for, need to now where to look. There are many places both online and off line. If you want to work online, go find yourself a large social networking site. MySpace is the king but there are currently many other social networking sites. There are many being put up everyday. One great resource I stumbled onto was Wikipedia.org. They have a large list of social networking sites (notice that they even give an estimate of the size of the community).

Another great place to find leads is in classifieds; online or offline. USfreeAds and Craigslist are examples of some large online classified sites. For offline leads, check your local Newspapers, magazines and the bulletin boards and those “shoppers” at your local supermarket . You can find all kinds of classified by doing a search with Google or Yahoo. Also, keep in mind that Directmatches is available in many countries throughout the world so you can use the following techniques using classified in place like South Africa, Australia and France.

Now that you know who who are looking for and where to find them, it is now time to start a conversation with them. All you need to do is either directly ask them about their business or reply to one of their ads. Here is an example of the approach I use. It all starts with a simple question or two like this;

Hey ,
Sounds interesting, how’s business?
Do you have a website?

Let me know,
Corey

That’s it. Best thing about this is that you can really leverage your time and do many of these very fast. Just have a template like the version above saved in a word file (or any text editor) for when you are ready to start working. Just right click to copy your template, find a bunch of ads and then right click to start pasting. Depending on how hard you want to work you can really knock out a ton of these, fast. In just an hour you can send out 25-50 messages or more. To put it in perspective, if you’ve done any phone calling with your current business, just think of how many calls you could do in that same time…not many.

Now all that you have to do is check your inbox over the next few days because many of these people will be replying to share their opportunity with you. At this time you can reply with something like this;

Hello ,

Thank you for the information …I am associated with many thousands
of networking professionals who may be interested as well.

You’re invited to post a free profile on my site. Many serious
entrepreneurs from around the world will view your contact and
business information.

Thats it! Now you have establish a relationship with the prospect. At this point, most will either click on the link and sign up or they will reply with questions.

There you have it. Now you know who to look for, where to find them and what to say. Just tweak the above examples to include your information and get to work. You can spend as little as an hour or two a week doing this with great results. Before you know it your downline will build and the weekly checks will be in the mailbox.
